The launch of CODEX Mobile APP was a resounding success and it will prove to be a technology innovation much awaited by the Port community. The application was launched by- Mr. S Anantha Chandra Bose, Chairman V.O. Chidamabaranar (Tuticorin) Port Trust in the presence of other key dignitaries from the Tuticorin Port like- Mr. David Raja- President, TCFSA and Mr. C. K Prabhu – Secretary, TCFSA. MIS 2016 is a maiden flagship initiative of the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India which provided a unique platform for participants to explore potential business opportunities in Indian Maritime Sector. MIS 2016 was organised from April 14-16, 2016 at Mumbai, India and featured extensive conference, exhibition and demo sessions highlighting the latest technology, products, services and the latest development in Maritime Sector. Year 2016 witnessed the inaugural edition of CLEAR VIEW summit in Dubai. The event was a huge success having a distinguished gathering of top executives from IATA, TIACA, Lufthansa, Swiss Port, Celebi - to name a few. The summit led to some concrete discussions surrounding current Air Cargo industry trends and yielded comprehensive insights into the future trends. There were four power packed & focused sessions over 1 and half days on the industry relevant subjects covering- Changing Business Environment- Need for Innovation; Statutory Compliances & Controls; Enabling e-Freight and The New Horizon- A Modern Age GHA. The subjects touched upon key areas of concern for Airport Cargo Ground Handling Community such as- Benchmark Airport KPIs, Statutory Compliances, Regulations & Customs Processes, e-Freight & the need for Change Management, the new opportunities & threats from e-commerce trade and modern technologies being used. 2017 Clear view- Athens Greece

Retracing the success of the inaugural edition of the clear view summit, the Clear View 2017 summit organised at Greece on the 6-7th July 2017, too was a huge success. The Clear View summit endeavours to ensure that a collective voice of the industry gets collated and the industry itself can assemble a charter for enabling possible realistic strategies and viable solutions to the issues discussed during the summit. With an intention to take this endeavour a step further, Kale announced an investment of USD 25,000 towards setting up a “Centre of Innovation in IT for Air Cargo”, during the summit. This centre was proposed as a platform to build, discuss and make dialogues that take place in the Clear View, a reality.
